Sounds of Silence

This is my latest painting in the Music of Reflections series.  Trees, water and reflections.  To me that is nature at her best and I love, as an artist, having the freedom to intuitively depict her in a composition and palette that may not be realistic but still convey the peace and beauty of our wonderful earth.

The palette knife is used to create the texture of the trees in the foreground.  The sides and a narrow border are painted in ivory black for a finished look without the need for a frame.

It is wired and varnished and ready to hang as soon as it is received.

Thanks for looking.  I hope you like it.
