During the covid lockdown, I allowed my art to go in a new direction and the result was closeup portraits of flowers.
Serena is such a soft, serene rose with almost ruffled petals in shades of purple. When I look at it, I can almost smell the sweet scent of the rose. My goal in creating these portraits is not to paint a photorealistic painting, but instead to create a beautiful, moving painting that someone can look at and take a deep breath and immerse themselves in the
glory of nature.
Serena is 24" x 24" painted on a gallery wrapped canvas. It is wired and varnished so that it will be ready to hang as soon as you receive it.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.
Thanks for looking.
I hope you like it.
